Description

MONVATOO London design is all about the love in creatures, ancient empires, and the whimsical of fantasy world. We combine all these ingredients to create the magical animal kingdom!

This bracelet is inspired by Electrum coinage which is the world’s earliest coins created around 600 B.C. from a mixture of gold, silver and other alloys. This naturally occurring alloy was commonly known as green gold or white gold by the Greeks. It is found in Paktolos river in Lydia, an Iron Age kingdom between Greek islands and the Persian Empire. The early electrum coinage is small and thick with the kidney bean-shaped.

The invention of money revolutionised life in ancient Greece as it is the medium for exchanging everything included wages and international trade. This coinage stimulated trade between Greek city states and abroad. It is the symbol of wealth and connectivity.
